FARM STORE UPDATE: (Fridays 9-11am and Saturdays 2-4pm) SPECIAL SATURDAY FARM STORE HOURS (2-4PM)! This Saturday a friend is getting married in our Carriage Museum! So that means we are shifting our Saturday Farm Store Hours to 2-4pm. If you come down the driveway at 4:01 you will be out of luck! To honor their event, after 4:00pm I will be uncharacteristically hard-nosed about not doing business (ha!). And dont forget, Kathy Steckman (without my mom who will be helping take care of our kids--yes, my mom is the best!) will be hosting the Friday Farm Store Hours, 9-11am (while she cleans eggs!). SMALL HITCH GREENS! Susan Hewitt of Small Hitch Farm is back for Saturdays Farm Store Hours! Here are pictures of her organically grown lettuce, chard, herbs, and garlic scapes! This week’s harvest: Salad mix! Scallions! Green garlic! Herbs! I will also be bringing for the first time colorful young chards and garlic scapes (like a mildly garlicky green bean) great in stir fry! OUR FOOD! 1. EGGS! We will have a good amount of eggs!
