FASHION TIPS FOR RAINY SEASON: With the monsoon setting in quicker this year and in greater force, one thing that people need to keep in mind is to opt for the right fabrics for the weather. While the humidity is also on the rise, a lot of those summer-friendly fabrics need to be kept aside, for they arent suited for this weather. Lighter, yet stronger, fabrics are what people need to opt for. Some of the most favoured fabrics are cottons, mul and light-weight silk fabrics. Also, one should stay away from fabrics which usually tend to stick to ones skin due to the rains. This would mean bidding goodbye to fabrics such as knits and linen during the season, despite their cool factor, as they tend to shrink when in contact with water. Pure cottons, natural fabrics, gabardine, denim and crepe silk are some fabrics that can resist water. Opting for chiffons and nylons also make a wise choice, as they dry quickly.
