FASHIONED FOR THE GLORY OF GOD DAILY DEVOTION BY : APOSTLE MOSES THEME: THE LIFE & NATURE OF GOD DATE: TUESDAY 06TH AUGUST 45 So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living person”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.(1CORINTHIANS15:45) From our opening scripture the bible says “The first man, Adam, became a living person”; the one God created in the garden of Eden & the last Adam Lord from heaven became a life-giving spirit, which is jesus christ. So when you are born again how sad many people think that God has restored to them that beautiful life first Adam used to have in the garden with God. No and thousand times NO! As we continue with the same chapter from verse 46 it says “However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.” 47 “The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.”They are two things I want you to observe from verse 47. Number one it says “The first man was of the earth, made of dust” even according to (Genesis 2:7). The second point jesus christ the second & last Adam is Lord from heaven even according to (John 8:23) Our opening verse let us know that the last adam is the life-giving-spirit. Jesus is a life giver & he came to give us the life of God, not the one adam used to have from the beginning, it is far better than that. Jesus said in (John10:10) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. Then he said Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. (John 6:47). The day you give your life to christ, the life on God was imparted to your human spirit. According to (John5:26) it says, For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself. God give his very own life to jesus ,nor wonder jesus lived a super natural life, he never got sick, because he had the life & nature of God. Life goes hand in hand with nature, if you have the life of animals you will behave like one. Since we have the life & nature of God, we have to behave like him. lets observe something (1 John 5:11-13) And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. If you believe in jesus christ you have his life & nature and remember his life & nature are from God, in other words the life & nature of God is now being imparted to your human spirit. He brought to us the special God kind of life, from Greek it renders (Zoe), it is the very essences of his divinity, the unconquerable life of God himself. Hallelujah!
