FATHER GOD, I just want to send up a small prayer for all of my little and not so little people going back to school today. LORD, please cover them with YOUR presence. Let YOUR angels guard them and keep them as they face this misguided world. Let no harm come their way, and if it seeks to do so, lift up a standard against it. GOD, help them to learn and laugh, grow in both knowledge and character, be leaders amongst their peers, and appreciate everything that makes them the unique individuals YOU have created them to be. Please guide all of the teachers and school staff. Grant them patience and wisdom. LORD, most importantly, let everyone know how much YOU love them, and surround them with loving and caring family and friends to support them through a successful school year. In JESUS NAME I pray, amen. If youre a parent or teacher, I pray the same for you and yours!
