FAVOR FOR EXPLOITS Friends, happy Wonderful Wednesday!!! God shall arise and have mercy on Zion for the set time to favor her is now. Beloved, THE SET TIME FOR GOD TO FAVOR YOU IS NOW!!! May he (God) delight in you!!! The bible tells us that they that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. The message below was preached at a program I recently attended at GRA by a visiting man of God (sorry, I didn’t catch his name). As you read it, I pray that God will baptize you with favor for exploits in the mighty name of Yeshua!!! Margaret Morenike Doherty-Aka FAVOR FOR EXPLOITS Esther 2:15b And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her. Favor opens the door of opportunities and grace carries you through it. MAY YOU RECEIVE GRACE AND FAVOR IN THE SIGHT OF GOD!!! Grace is the power of God that helps you and it is for those who are willing to enter the door of opportunity. What you know gives you an edge. Favor causes you to prosper wherever you find yourself. FAVOR WILL MAKE A WAY FOR YOU! If you have the consciousness that you carry Jesus, it’ll cause you to be favored wherever you go. Although God said he will have mercy on whom he will have mercy (Rom. 9:15), there are things you can do to position yourself for favor. For example, a great giver is automatically positioned for favor. Someone who is God-conscious is also favored. In Genesis 39, Joseph refused to defile himself with Portiphar’s wife. He later became a Prime Minister. The prison was actually the door of opportunity for him to minister to the person who would get him to the palace! Daniel refused to defile himself with a portion of the king’s meat. He decided to stand out for God. Daniel 10:19 And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me. Daniel was called “greatly beloved”. Apostle John was called “the beloved”. MAY THAT BE YOUR TESTIMONY!!! Favor doesn’t come as a result of looks or intellect. There is a price to pay for favor. Diligence and humility brings favor: Proverbs 22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. James 4:6b God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Psalm 5:12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. In order to be favored, we must forget the past. Everyone has a past. Esther was an orphan but she received uncommon favor. The past is where we had our tests, trails, delay, embarrassment, etc but our future is where we will have our testimonies, triumphs, speed, honor, etc To be favored we must be courageous. Esther trusted God, went on a fast and said “If I perish, I perish” and she did not perish! Fasting and prayer provokes favor. Daniel fasted. The people of Ninevah fasted and received forgiveness. The elders of the church of Antioch fasted (Acts 13). Fervent prayer provokes favor. Hannah was fervent though she wasn’t loud. There must be fervency. There must be something inside you saying “enough is enough”. To be favored, we must create time for God (praise, worship, meditation). Giving takes you to a new dimension in God. When Solomon gave a thousand burnt offerings to God, his destiny changed! Isaiah 60:1-3 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Favor makes God to set a table before you in the presence of your enemies. When God starts to show you favor, your enemies will increase. MAY GOD SEND YOU HELP FROM THE NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, AND WEST!!! Once you’ve provoked favor, you’ve gotta sustain it. Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. PRAYER -Father, thank you for the doors of opportunities you have opened unto me, let no man shut it!!! -Father, help me to remain faithful. -Father, touch the hearts of people to favor me. -Father, remove selfishness from me. Teach me to also show favor to others. Teach me to sow favor, kindness, gentleness, friendly disposition to others. -Jonathan advised Amnon wrongly leading to his death (2 Sam. 9:3). Father, disconnect me from every ungodly association! -Father, Esther had a banquet and Haman was hung. Bring me into my season of celebration! Song: Eeehhhh, my God is good O! My God is good O! My God is good O! Everything na double double! Na double double! Promotion na triple triple! Na triple triple! Miracle na quadruple quadruple! Eeehhh, my God is good o!!!
