FB Friends, I really need your help please. Im giving a talk this Saturday in sha Allah at a luncheon on Domestic Violence. In addition to existing data that I will be presenting, I also wanted to give some REAL and relevant numbers from a personal perspective to highlight the high prevalence of this issue in our community. Would you mind helping me by simply clicking on Like if you know anyone who is or has been a victim of domestic violence? Thats it. A simple like is all I need. With over 2,000 of you I am really hoping to get some solid feedback! Also, because I know so many victims are voiceless, if you wanted me to share your story (with COMPLETE anonymity of course) please send me a private message. You can share whatever you want and I will not ask you for any further details. If I decide to use your story in my presentation I will let you know. Again, absolutely NO personal information will ever be relayed, just very general info based on what you provide me. For example: A sister was a victim for 10 years and was mocked/abused every day because of her family background and lack of education. If you have any questions, let me know!
