FEAR AND ITS CONSEQUENCES: Wat is fear? Fear is the feeling when you are frightened. Fear is a sudden unusual feeling of something bad. CONSEQUENCES OF FEAR: (1)FEAR CAN TURN YOU TO A SLAVE TO SOMEONE: Most pple have become slaves to others because they fear them so much. The Isrealites became slaves to Goliath fourty nights and fourty days 1Samuel17:16, 24. Because they were afraid of confronting him not untill David summoned courage to take away their fear. (2)FEAR CAN MAKE YOU TO MISS OUT GODS PROPOSED & DESIGNED BLESSING FOR YOU: The twelve spies dat went to spy the promised land, a land filled with milk and honey could not inherit the land because of fear except Jeshua and Caleb who had a different spirit see Numbers13:30-31. 14:20-24. (3)FEAR CAN MAKE YOU TO BE LESS EFFECTIVE WHERE YOU ACTUALLY BE EFFECTIVE: There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him dat encamped against thee. Thou hast put them to shame because God hath despised them see Psalm53:5. These pple were living in fear where there was no fear and this might probably made them less effective where they would have done exploits. (4)FEAR IS A TRAP: Each time you fear someone, you have given such person the advantage to threaten you at all times see Proverb29:25. (5)FEAR MAKES YOUR HEART TO FAIL YOU: Most pples hearts are failing them today because of the so called EBOLA. Most pple die in accidents not because of the accident but because of the fear they had already accommodated in their heart see Luke 21:26. (5)FEAR MAKES YOU A SUBJECT TO BONDAGE: And deliver them who through the fear of death were all their lifetime subject to Bandage see Hebrews2:15. (6)FEAR CAN MAKE YOU NOT TO SHOW PERFECT LOVE TO SOMEONE: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casted out fear: because fear hath torment. He dat feareth is not perfect in love 1John4:18. HOW TO OVERCOME FEAR: (1)Confront your fear with the name of the lord see 1Samuel18:10. (2)Run to the name of the lord see Proverb18:10. (3)Believe wat the word of God says about you see 1Timothy1:7 & Romans8:15. (4)Mock at your fear see Job39:19-22 & Proverb3:25. (5)Encourage yourself see Exodus14:13-14 & Exodus20:20. (6)Pray out your fear see Proverb24:10 & Luke18:1. If you faint during the times of your fear your strenght is little Proverb24:10. God will help you to overcome your fear in Jesus name.
