FIFA BANS NIGERIA AGAIN FOR GOVT INTERFERENCE ================================================= In the last 3 years the Nigerian govt has spent well over N5B developing and participating in football competitions around Africa and globally. From the National Under 17 male and female, Under 20 male, Under 19 girls, Under 23 male, Super Eagles and the Falcons. FIFA has always encouraged govt from third world countries like Nigeria to support and finance football, but unfortunately, FIFA also forbids the same countries that spend so much from their meager resources in football to have any say in how the money they put into football is utilized in their own countries. So much so that even if a fraud star or certificate forger, as in the case of Maigari finds his way into the country`s football top seat, he should not be prosecuted....... Now, are the chairmen of football federations under some immunity or what??? Is the president of the Nigeria Football Federation above the laws of Nigeria? A court of competent jurisdiction dissolves the board, which was alleged to have been wrongly constituted. As far as the law is concerned, there is no NFF what we have is NFA. The NASS is yet to pass the bill recognizing the football body as a federation, for now its just an association. They apply for funds from the Nigerian govt as NFA and relate to FIFA as NFF. That is fraudulent!!! The NFF president is involved in certificate forgery, falsifications and discrepancies and FIFA says the law of Nigeria should not be respected? FIFA itself if bedeviled with one scandal or the other and they do not even have the moral justification to even dabble into issues like this and for me, this ban is internally induced from here and manipulated to blackmail the Nigerian govt. Let the ban remain if they like and let us keep our money and channel the billions we spend annually at the detriment of other sports into the sports that have been abandoned for football...... Meanwhile, the NFF should remain dissolved and the govt should remain resolute about it..... He who pays the piper dictates the tune #DOR
