FIFA turns down Tunisias complaint against Cameroon The international football governing body FIFA rejected a complaint lodged by the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) against two Cameroonian players on Thursday. The complaint, submitted by the Tunisians after their 4-1 defeat during the playoff second leg against the Cameroon on Nov. 17 in Yaounde, put into question the nationality of Choupo Moting and Joel Matip, who played for Cameroon. Nabil Daboussi, spokesperson of FTF confirmed Thursday that he received an official correspondence from FIFA stating the rejection of their petition. For the moment, FIFA has assured that the documents provided by the Cameroonian federation have been accepted, Daboussi said. This is not the first time Tunisia files a complaint against a team this season. A FIFA verdict last September has reinstated Tunisia in the World Cup playoffs and offered the north African team a retroactive victory against west African team of Cape Verde. The FIFA decision last September moved the Tunisian team on top of its list and offered it a place in the following qualifying stage. news.xinhuanet/english/sports/2013-11/29/c_132926899.htm
