FINALLY! I found the album from the great flood of 97, the highest I ever remember seeing the water.The first shot is the HWY 70 bridge below Bedrock. This was the last picture on the roll of film, unfortunately. The water kept rising, and 20 minutes later was rolling, and occasionally slapping the bottom of the bridge. Low and behold, an idiot in a little 2 man rubber raft appeared, being followed by a helicopter, with the PA blasting out GET OUT OF THE WATER! IF YOU DONT GET OUT OF THE RIVER, YOU WILL DIE! He was really lucky. The water rolled just right, and he went under the bridge and popped out on the other side. The 2nd shot is Bedrock Park. Notice that the entire park, including the parking lot, is about 10 under water. The third shot is the wildlife area, down near the Afterbay Outlet. And the last shot is up the canyon. Thats whats left of the rest area up by the tunnels.
