FINALLY!!! Ive heard it from someone elses mouth! Its nice to know that Im not the only one that argues the developmentally appropriateness of these state tests (AND grade level expectations I might add). Nor should they be from what we solely base our kids ability level. If Ive said it once Ive said it a million times...IF ONLY THE PEOPLE WHO MANDATE THESE TESTS ACTUALLY KNEW SOMETHING ABOUT THE CONCEPTS OF TEACHING AND LEARNING!!! If you have ever heard my personal opinion concerning testing you know that this has always been my argument. sadly enough, it probably always will be.
