FINANCE CLUSTER SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT OFFICER REF NO: 31000046 SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT UNIT SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT Basic Salary R195 162.36 / R253 331.05 p.a. (Grade 11) Job Purpose: Co-ordinates the execution of special assignments aimed at improving the Buying, Stores and disposal operations. Key Responsibility Areas: •Improves understanding and knowledge of applications and procedures through training. •Supports line functions with the execution of specific queries and / or investigative applications. Executes applications associated with the preparation and submission of reports and maintains records / information. •Evaluates functional performance areas and identifies and implements improved methods. • Coordinates investigative and analytical procedures to determine operational effectiveness and compliance with regulations. Essential Requirements: •Relevant tertiary qualification. •Valid motor vehicle drivers licence (Code EB). •3 Years relevant experience. Preferred Requirements: •Cost and Management Accounting Qualification. •3 years relevant experience in Financial and Cost Benefits Analysis. Work sample and/or psychometric tests may be undertaken as part of the selection process Priority will be given to applicants who are under-represented in terms of race, gender and disability within the occupational level of the respective advertised posts.
