As i have indicated in one of my status updates, a lot of parents send their kids to school to learn words and books instead of NUMBERS and FINANCIAL STATEMENTS. As a result, the spend their time working for those who understand numbers and financial statements. 8. Two key PERSONAL and BUSINESS financial statements we all must be able to read. - The Income Statement shows the amount of money coming in and going out. - The Balance Sheet shows the balance of what you own and what you owe. 9. Lot of people buy expenses and liabilities and they think these are assets, and as a result are indebted for most of their working lives. 10.
