•• FIRE AT THE REFUGEE CAMP!! #WinterInSyriaConvoy •• This is something we experienced last week at a refugee camp in Syria. Ive not had a chance to put it into words neither did I intend to.. The flashbacks in my head is more than enough however I came across something a brother who was with us wrote up.. Wallahi I can still remember that scene in detail.. I had soot stuck into my skin for a few days, even after using all sorts of hand washing gels.. The leather from the glove left a print on my hands I think.. It was total chaos.. Madness.. Just another day for them at the refugee camps.. Fires are very common but this is life.. This is life in a refugee camp.. ASSALAMU ALAIKUM WARAH MATULLAHI WABARAKATUH.. As part of the Aid 4 Syria One Nation team we were travelling to one of many missions late at night, we came across a ploom of thick black smoke that can be seen in the darkness of Bilaad al Shaam. As we drove closer and closer, we noticed a fire raging with fury and intensity and out of control which lit up the refugee camp. As our duty upon the Ummah, we hurried to give any assistance that was needed. Upon arrival, we noticed total carnage and mayhem amongst the dwellers of the camp. Water! Water! Rang out from the rushing crowd but were over whelmed by the screams and cries of the women and children. As We looked for fire extinguishers, buckets of water were being filled and back an forth they came. We aided in putting out the fire while precaution was taken as we noticed the reason for this terrible incident. It took no more than 15 to 20 minutes to extinguish the blaze as it unfolded in front of us that a gas bottle was still burning and hissing, as if It was warning the crowd to stay well clear of the dangers it still posed! The side tinned walls of the caravan were now being ripped apart to see if anyone had perished. Out came a cry...Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar!! From the corner emerged of what seemed to be a charred body of a young man. Innalillahi wa inna elayhi rajeoon. Shaheed Shaheed roared and Echoed around the shocked camp. Gently gently he was removed from where he breathed his last, ushered quickly onto a blanket which was rushed onto back of a open pick up truck. The smell of burnt flesh diffused around the camp as the reality hit everyone. This was a night to remember all for tbe wrong reason for the Muhajirs (us). As For the Ansaary refugees...if its not the Asaad regimes continuous murderous appetite, the lack of basic health and safety and the poor conditions will be their killer. (May Allah protect them all) He was only 19, Name not known. We later learned that he was a Syrian man visiting his sister and family. He worked in Turkey so that he could look after his own blood, not knowing that this would be his last and final journey he takes before he is taken from us and becomes one of the high ranked in the Akhirah. May Allmighty Allah grant him jannatul firdous. Ameen. He does not need our duas as he has passed his test on this earth and attained a ticket to eternal bliss biithnillah #AskYourself, #WhatIsBilaadAlShaam? Who are the people of Bilad al Shaam? The Blessed Land, the Blessed People. Do you not want to partake in the treasures that is held within? Where history shows so many lessons for the Ummah to heed and learn from. Remember...they plan but Allah the Allmighty is best of All planners. The land of Bilad al Shaam is calling. Will you not answer? SHAAM DOES NOT NEED US, WE NEED SHAAM!! So we may learn the strength and weaknesses of our Imaan and be proud to to carry flag of Islam in the face of hardship and turmoil that has besieged the Ummah. Write your name in history. Be recognised. Do not let the chance slip away of being used to ease the suffering of the blessed people. Earn the right to be standing shoulder to shoulder on that day with the ones that Allah Azza Wajal and our Beloved Nabi (p.b.u.h) are pleased with for ever. These are the words that do not only come from my mouth but from my heart as I have not seen from my eyes but from my heart. As Always Allah Knows Best. Imran bin Abu. Slave Of Allah.
