FIRE FACKSON SHAMENDA- COSMO MUMBA Opposition National Revolution Party Leader Cosmo Mumba has urged President Michael C. Sata to dismiss Labour minister Fackson Shamenda. Mr. Mumba notes that Mr. Shamenda has failed the ministry and government. He says workers in the country have continued to complain of poor working conditions and salaries. Mr. Mumba alleges that Mr. Shamenda sits idle in his office when some workers are suffering. Yesterday security officers from Armcor staged a protest in Lusaka to demand for their 3months salaries. And in a related developement Zambia Sugar workers have threatend to down tools, should management fail to improve their working conditions which they have bemoand.
