FJEDP asks people to organize march on the eve of musical concert =>Forum for Justice to Enforced Disappeared Persons (FJEDP) Tuesday said that Zubin Mehta’s Kashmir show is a conspiracy that tentamounts to rubbing salt on the wounds of Kashmiri people. The Forum said that the controversial concert should be resisted toothand nail. In a statement issued to CNS, FJEDP said that ithas nothing personal against the singer or singing band but is surprised how German Embassy along with other embassies who arecovertly helping this programme are allowing this concert that will have an impact on the disputed nature of Jammu and Kashmir. FJEDP appealed people to show full solidarity with the victims of human right violations andparticipate in peaceful Shalimar Chalo march on the eve of the concert. “We also appeal to the youth of Kashmir to bepart of this peaceful march and show to the world that Kashmir resolution is much more important than musical concerts,” the statement reads.
