FLASH MOB FOR PALESTINE, IAW 2014, Part 5 happens tomorrow Many of you have been part of our flash mob initiative that brought together people in 4 flash mobs in 2012 and 2013, solely for the purpose of uniting for the Palestinian cause and expressing our solidarity with the people of Palestine, regardless of our association with any organization, ideological, social or religious grouping and is simply an initiative by the people. This year, get ready for TAKE 5! This week is Israeli Apartheid Week (10-16 March 2014). Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) is an annual international series of events held in cities and campuses across the globe. The aim of IAW is to educate people about the nature of Israel as an apartheid system and to build Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaigns as part of a growing global BDS movement. Lectures, films, and actions will highlight some of the successes of the BDS movement and build / support ongoing campaigns. In this regard, the fifth #Durban4Gaza flash mob will take place this SUNDAY (16 March 2014) in Durban, to conclude IAW in KZN.
