FLASHLIGHT Priscilla wore her dark glasses and walked out of the lecture hall, to her it was a boring lecture. Walking in the hot sun, a thought flitted through her mind as she stopped a Taxi. Snazzy Cafeteria, please ********** LUSH HOSTEL¤ Young guys moved in and out of their rooms. It was a hot Monday afternoon. Kelvin someone hollered. Kelvin looked back to see Caleb, a guy staying in the sixth room next to his, waving at him I didnt see you at the last HTFs Love feast. Yeah, I had books to read and besides im not good at making new friends. Kelvin replied as he opened the door to his room. HTFs Love Feast was an event held on the first and last saturdays of every month by a religious body called Hill Top Fellowship; to bring students together to worship God and pray, it was also an avenue for the students to meet new friends. Fine boy like you, no suppose miss that kind thing o Caleb replied, this saturday is the next HTF Love Feast o Kelvin chuckled, I will try to attend he said as he entered his and shut the door. He sank into his study chair, exhausted. It was the third day of his personal fast. He looked at the time, it was five minutes past the hour of 3pm, he grabbed his Bible, knelt down and was about to pray when he heard, YOU MUST ATTEND THE NEXT HTFS LOVE FEAST, IM COUNTING ON YOU KELVIN. He quickly jotted it, Its in the next five days, oh Lord what will you have me do? he thought as he took a deep breathe. ********* Snazzy Cafeteria¤ The shouty conversation between the guys on table six ended abruptly as Priscilla walked pass their table. This babe is cute Murphy said to the two others guys, Johnson and Alex, Johnson, are thinking what im thinking. By Gods grace Johnson replied as he licked his lips. Johnson was a 300 level Engineering student with broad shoulders, light skin and chubby cheeks.. A ladys guy, who could have any lady he wants. Excuse me. Priscilla said to the the attendant at the counter, can i get a bottle of water? And a pack of chicken and chips sure, ill be back in a jiffy the attendant replied. Johnson walked up to Priscilla as she waited to get her food. Hello Johnson said in a cool voice. Hi My friend told me something about you, and ill like ask you about it Johnson replied go ahead please Priscilla said sheepishly Well, he told me youre beautiful Priscilla smiled, thanks, i guess i am. Im Johnson, and you? Priscilla she said as she paid for her food, Priscil for short Perfect name for a pretty lady like you Johnson said. Priscilla chuckled Im leaving now but ill be here by 12pm tomorrow for lunch, I dont mind you join me she said as she left Johnson. The eyes of Johnsons friends followed Priscilla until she left the Cafeteria. Johnson walked back to his seat. Guys! Lets go JOHNSON o they replied him, giggling.
