FLIGHT SINK LEAK: A Virgin Australia plane travelling from Los Angeles to Sydney was forced to turn back in the early hours of Tuesday morning after onboard sinks began to leak. In a statement published by The Sydney Morning Herald - smh.au, the airline denied passenger reports that human waste had reached the aircraft’s aisles. Flight passenger Julia Malley posted the letter she was given by the airline to Facebook, in which the incident was blamed on a plumbing problem with the fresh water overflow system. The airline wrote that “at no time was health and safety at risk to any persons on board the aircraft.” Embeddable with credit to Julia Malley via Facebook.
