FLYING THROUGH FALL - Merganser pair: Wyoming I look upon the colors falling And I hear in the distance winter calling Heralded by a messenger bearing the warning Dressed in a cloak of colors warming. While dressed in her best attire And one that many would admire For it is adorned in colors bright And sways and rustles to the wind’s might. She tarries not long And soon she will fade away Leaving behind A promise to return one day.
