FMCS Drivers Classification leader Afiq Yazid of Meritus GP is the only FMCS driver to have won a race on each of the FMCS tracks this season, with a win in the opening race in Zhuhai, two wins in Shanghai and two wins in Ordos. The 21-year old Malaysian gives us his thoughts on the different challenges each circuit presents: “Zhuhai and Shanghai were similar tracks and then Ordos was much different for us. Zhuhai has been around for a long time and Shanghai is an F1 track so it is very smooth. In Ordos you have a lot to deal with. It is a really good track, but it is dusty and a real test that pushes you to the edge of what you can do. So our different driving techniques have really been tested in this series.”
