FOD Parkrun 233..breaking news.... Jack Fleet earns Chinese takeaway guiding mum to PB. Race Director Mark Mathews abandons career as a juggler after dropping all the finish tokens. Emma Parsons is suspended for bringing melon - its not cake Emma! Daren Smith launches an enquiry in light of concerns that todays event went too smoothly. Daren said There will be a full and thorough investigation, we are deeply shocked and would like to assure runners this wont happen too often. A full report will be produced for the select committee in due course. Another day in paradise as 108 runners lined up in great conditions and the going again was good to firm. There were 4 first timers, what took you so long and when are you coming back...bring some cake. The youngest runners were Kieran and Chloe Morgan (who are about 7 I think) and the most experienced was our friend from over the boarder, the ever green Syd Wheeler. Our winner was visitor Phillip Winskill in 17.26 and first lady was the lovely Tori Baker in 22.44 with a PB. Top age graders were John Hamilton 79.45% (PB) and the lovely Jacqui Wynds 78.49% congratulations!! Emma Parsons hits 50 parkruns, well done Em! Hay was to be made as the sun still shone to grab a PB or two and the ladys lead the way in style ...here goes.. PBs for....... John Hamilton, Andrew Horlick, Will Montague-Fuller, Victoria Baker, Guy Maskell, Sherryl Hall, Harry Fleet (whoop yeh!), Sue Shergold, James Frost, Mary Hamilton, Emma Parson (suspended), Simon Tremlett, Louis Blake (whoop yeh!), Dolores Fawcett-Till, Stef Francis, Patrick Rennison, Rachey Nash, Damion Collins, Barb Morris (Harrison), Harry Griffiths, David Price, some woman Vanessa Pegler (never heard of her), Przemyslaw WACLAWEK, Ellie Hall, Sarah Simmons, Sharla Fleet (my favorite), Alice Montague-Fuller, Leona Price, Debbie White, Sue Dowle, Clare Lavender, Sash Robins and me. Huge massive well done to you all. Apologies if I frightened any pets or small children when I finished Im quite a nice bloke really, its been a hard summer! Many thanks to our volunteers today whom without we have no Parkrun...
