Now all about TOPI...Once upon a time there was a MAN, M.K.GANDHI, now known as MAHATMA GANDHI, He used to wear Topi and was simple in dress,a half Naked, bear footed, often moved with villagers and rural folk, for He knew the the soul of India is with the villagers...and we find hundreds of vote seekers wearing Gandhi Topi moving around, without knowing the pulse beat of the people..and they quarrel and fight for the monopoly of Gandhi Topi, as some say it is something they have inherited from the ancestors of their party as if Gandhi belong to them only, while some new comers in politics wear it saying that they are the true followers of GANDHIJI...whatever the controversy over this, Topi helps a little to cover the terrible heat, nothing more than that...But Gadhiji your kindself have to brave the terrible heat, rains and all vagaries of nature,the shawl some people clothed you on your Jayanhi Day is now full of dust and dirt.... and our politicians have no time to attend YOU....have to wait till next Jayanthy comes..Foreign countries have high regard for you MAHATMA, for they keep in mind the lessons YOU taught.....
