FOOD FOR THOUGHT: (From Spiritual Nourishmment for Today, September 30, 2013 Edition) We all need to understand that God can call some people into ministry without using the conventional means of entering into ministry as we know today. Some may not even know how to read and write, yet God can use them mightily to do his work. We should not reject or despise such people. We should not always insist on specific training regime. We should always find a means of accommodating such ones somehow, for our minds are not that of God. We should allow the Holy Spirit to guide us in knowing those he has called and those he has not called. Once we are convinced they are called, we should accept them and help them in every way possible. Later when the church in Judea heard of Paul’s conversion, they rejoiced. So should we be happy when God anoints people to do his work. We should not discourage those genuinely called to do God’s work by putting obstacles in their way! Eric Nana Kobina Baisie
