FOOD FOR THOUGHT ON LOVE SEGMENT As Christians, we do not fall in love just as the people of the world do, but we walk in love because our nature is love. The Bible says in Romans 5, that the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. So we walk in that love. Why many marriages have been torn apart, is because the Couples didnt walk in love, but they fell in love. There is a clear different between WALKING in LOVE, and FALLING in LOVE. To fall in love is to blindfoldedly lust after something, while to walk in love, is the ability to look and see with the eyes of love unconditionally, and to also talk and practicalise love. Someone said to me, I fell in love with my spouse when we newly met, and we got married but I didnt know that I got married to the devil for the past years. Well, this has been the testimony of so many couples whose marriages have been painfully uprooted. To tell you the fact, those couples whose marriages have been broken up didnt thought of WALKING IN LOVE with each other, but they were always falling in love with each other. Dont forget that when you fall into a river, you will certainly not remain in that river forever because you didnt plan to live in it, but you mistakenly fell into it. This is what normally happens when you fall in love. Someone who falls in love will surely get up one day and walk out of it, because it wasnt a planed idea to fall into it. When you walk in the love of God that was shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Ghost, you will never have anything to do with a broken relationship. You can grow daily in that love when you continually walk in it. When you walk in the love of God, you will always learn to forgive anyone with love. When you learn to walk in that love, your marriage, and your home will be established in good success, joy, peace and prosperity, because you have laid the right foundation. Be a love practitioner today, talk love, dont just show people love but SHARE it to people, let your words be seasoned with love. If you dont walk in the love of God, it will be very difficult for you to forgive and forget what someone might have done to you, but when you walk in Gods love you will always forgive and forget even without apologies. Romans 5:8 says, But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while were yet sinners, Christ died for us. So God expects us to love unconditionally, that was why He shed His love abroad in our hearts, so that we can walk daily in it.
