FOOTBALL- QPR boss Harry Redknapp believes Wayne Rooney will win back the support of Manchester United fans this new season. Redknapp wrote in The Sun: "Wayne Rooney has come home from Thailand but still faces a journey to win over Manchester United fans. "But it’s possible. The one thing that always strikes you about Rooney is, whatever is happening off or on the pitch, when he pulls on the red shirt he gives everything. "If he stays at Old Trafford next season he will do exactly the same. The latest dramas that have accompanied him will be forgotten and he will move on. "Because of that the supporters will soon be back on side. "Fans demand loyalty from the players but, when one steps out of line, they will readily accept them back — as long as they can see the effort going in."
