FOR ALL EXPATS WHO VOTED IN TORONTO, HAVANNA, MADRID and LUBUMBASHI Message from Nikki Barnfather: I am not prepared to accept this and would like to get as many people together as possible so we can do something about this. I am lucky that my vote counted but I spent close to $1000 on my trip to vote and lost a similar amount in income by taking off the time from my personal business. Not fair that other people did the same and it did not count. I am not prepared to lie down and hear that my fellow expats votes will not be counted. Please email me your complaints - nikkibsouthafrica@gmail - and if you feel it appropriate, let me know an estimate of the distance you travelled, time taken off work, and money spent that the trips cost.
