He is an experienced diplomat who has held great positions. The Diplomatic Mission & Representations of Cameroon in Asian Countries, to be Faithful to the Vision of the President of Cameroon (Head of State), will have to direct their actions towards the following three areas inline with CAMDA Initiatives: - To develop vis-a-vis the Cameroon Diaspora, a targeted action to promote major Development Projects in the country from abroad using START-UP CAMEROON (STAC) Business Investment Scheme via Cameroon Diplomatic Mission or Post or CVAC Offices; - Channel funds from the Cameroon Diaspora & Foreign Investors / Industrialists, International Partners while Encourage Business Investment in Cameroon under Joint Venture projects Partnering with Local Businesses to empower them to go Global & become Multinationals (MNCs); - Assist in the structuring and Framing of the various components of the Cameroonian Diaspora in Foreign Countries accredited to Cameroon Diplomatic Mission / Post and Under the Direction of Cameroonian Abroad, MINREX Yaounde, Cameroon. CAMDA ASIA is an Umbrella Association that Network and Linking All Cameroonian Associations in Asian Countries with the Government of Cameroon (Department of Cameroonians Abroad, Ministry of External Affairs Yaounde Cameroon) via the Embassies of Cameroon in Asia. The objective is UNITY, IDEAS, TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION, ATTRACTING CREDIBLE BUSINESS INVESTMENT INTO CAMEROON FROM HOST COUNTRY AND PROTECTING THE RIGHTS OF CAMEROONIANS IN ASIA. Cameroon Ministry of External Relations in Yaounde (MINREX): Minrex Focuses On Good Neighborliness, Border Security & Engagement of Cameroon Diaspora........... The Minister of External Relations, H.E Prof. Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo on January 14, 2014 enjoined the staff of the ministry to work hard in order to achieve the key priorities of the ministry for 2014 that include consolidation of peace and security, good neighborliness, Engaging the Cameroon Diaspora and security at Cameroons borders, couple with Economic transformation of the country through International Development Partners / Business Investors. He was speaking in the ministry as the staff presented 2014 New Year wishes to him as well as to the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with the Commonwealth, H.E Mr. Joseph Dion Ngute and the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with the Islamic World, H.E Mr. Adoum Gargoum. Professor Moukoko Mbonjo called on the staffs to reflect on the Head of States 2014 New Year message as well as the message to members of the Diplomatic corps in Yaounde during the presentation of New Year wishes. He reiterated the Head of States insistence on Patriotism and invited the staffs of the ministry to work to consolidate achievements in preserving Peace, Unity, Credible Business Investment, Sustainable Development and Security in the country. The staff, he said, should also be exemplary citizens in their behaviour and have to accompany ministries involved in Economic Transformation and also Business Community. The Secretary General, H.E Mr. Felix Mbayu, in an earlier speech on behalf of the staff presented problems that included the adoption of the special status of Diplomats, Career Profile and Working conditions. The Secretary General promised the support and loyalty of the staffs to the Minister to enable him accomplish the mission of putting in place the Countrys Foreign Policy defined by the Head of State, President Paul Biya. Mr Felix Mbayu enjoined the staff to respect the code of ethics and conduct of their profession. Other highlights of the occasion included the award of medals and also gifts to staff going on retirement. The ceremony ended with the staff greeting the Minister and the two Minister Delegates wishing them Happy New Year 2014 Therefore CAMDA ASIA is commission by the Honorable Director, Directorate of Cameroonians Abroad and the Secretary General at the Ministry of External Relations (MINREX Yaounde); Government of Cameroon to fostering the Vision of the Head of State within ASIA; Supervise & Patronage by the Embassies / Consulates of Cameroon in Asian countries.
