Soon "Audrey II" grows into an ill-tempered, R&B-singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite, finally revealing itself to be an alien creature poised for global domination! Jarek Zabcyznski (County Players’ Aida and Cabaret, Rhinebeck PAC’s The Producers) stars as the nebbish Seymour Krelborn, Victoria McCarthy (last season’s Mabel in Pirates of Penzance) is Audrey, the gum-snapping, bleached blonde secret love of Seymour; Just Off Broadway, Inc. favorite Matt Michael (Footloose, Godspell, A Few Good Men) is Audrey’s sadistic motorcycle-riding dentist boyfriend; and Craig Patrick Browne (Fiddler on the Roof, Phantom of the Opera) plays failing flower shop owner Mr. Mushnik. This Just Off Broadway cast again features some of the most outstanding talent from the Hudson Valley: M’Lanie Hunter as Chiffon, Cat Capolupo as Crystal, and Allison Hightower as Ronette, the Skid Row girl-group trio of Greek Chorus urchins. Lastly, as the iconic voice of Audrey II is JOB, Inc. alumnus and perennial favorite Nick Butler (A Few Good Men, Seussical, Pirates of Penzance, Joseph...Dreamcoat). Audrey II has been created by world-renowned puppeteer and designer Bill Diamond of Bill Diamond Studios in Cornwall; Award-winning Music Director Nick DiGregorio (Godspell) will be conducting; Heidi Haskell is the Production Stage Manager; Kristine Pilla is the Assistant Stage Manager; Hannah Blair Butler is the Costume Designer; Ed Romanoff is the Lighting & Set Designer; Rachel Fendt, Cami Greif, and Jane Petruncola will complete the production crew.
