FOR SALE - £500ono - potentially looking for a new home for Gambler, my 16 year old 16h Danish Warmblood gelding whom I have owned for over 7 years. Since moving yards last year, Gambler has been on grass livery and due to lack of facilities out of work. Full of ‘personality’ and a lovely boy, super easy to catch and handle. Gambler has arthritis in both hind legs however is not on any medication and living out suits him to the ground as he can move as much as he want. Cheap to keep as he doesn’t require additional hard feed and has lived out last winter (he doesn’t trash rugs!). Gambler is not shod however requires a female equine podiatrist for a regular trim (he doesn’t trust men!). Gambler is very lazy, usually ambles at the back of an easy hack but his super personality makes up for this, hence why he would make an excellent companion / light hack / showing in hand super star. Might also be suitable for someone who is into natural horsemanship, he would certainly be a super project for someone. He is an easy loader, will stand on the lorry all day (with a haynet to munch of course!) so perfect companion if you need a travelling companion. Never sick or sorry when he was in work. Fully vaccinated and passported. Pressures of work and other horses (on other yard) made me having to think about finding a new home for him where someone has the time he truly deserves. Ideally looking for a home within the home counties and would like to stay in touch with the owner. Home much more important than price. Tack negotiable at extra costs. Watford area / Hertfordshire
