FOR SALE Off-road buggy PROJECT DOREEN, Victoria. Built on a 68 beetle chassis with double torsion bar front end. The project consists of two vehicles currently: --- A beetle chassis with complete mandrel bent tube frame/cage, front end assembly and steering. No rear end included. --- a 1993 Toyota camry Altima. Complete running car. Unregistered, good interior except for dash has come away from foam from sun damage. Exterior is hail damaged quite badly. Can sell all interior parts that are not used in project. Front k-frame assembly was intended to go into the rear of the buggy with modified suspension towers, locked steering and rear wheel drive. Due to other commitments the project no longer suits me. The existing buggy frame would also suit a beetle engine and gearbox but I was looking for a more modern setup. Would be a great father/son project or a muck around off-roader for a beginner. Looking for $800 for the lot, pickup Doreen, vic or can trailer within metro area for extra price depending on buyer.
