FOR SALE Piaggio Vespa LX50, 50cc, 2009 (09 Plate), £1,250 ONO, Surrey, UK I am begrudgingly selling my Metallic Black 2009 Piaggio Vespa LX50, however due to an office location change I have no choice as I need something bigger. I did consider keeping her locked up in my garage, as Vespas hold their value, but i just dont have the space which is a great shame. This Vespa is in excellent condition, only 2 owners (me being the 2nd). Very low mileage - 18,500 km (approx. 11,500 miles). Only used for short commute to work and back. Metallic Black with Tan Seat, New Sito Plus Exhaust installed Sept 2014, Fully Serviced in August 2014 and MOTd in June 2014, New battery installed in 2014, new belt and rollers installed in 2014 and new rear tyre installed in 2014. Taxed until June 2015. Serviced and MOTd June until 2015. Passed MOT with no issues or advisories whatsoever. Starts and runs perfectly and very cheap to maintain and fuel. I travel 50 miles per week and it was only costing me £3.50 per week of fuel. Perfect for those commutes to work, especially in traffic! I shall be very sad to see her go! There are a couple of minor cosmetic scuffs (nothing you wouldnt expect from a London Scooter), but no dents or major scrapes or scratches. For its age and the fact that it’s perfect for weaving in and out of traffic, it’s in excellent condition. I tend to look after my belongings so it has been looked after very well. There is a mark/scrape on the left foot-well but other than this nothing major. It comes with 2 keys, original tool set, owner’s manual and service history. The 1st owner was a motorbike mechanic (main dealer in London) so did service and look after it but kept none of the history, however I have recorded and kept all service history and receipts for everything I have done. This is a fantastic bargain for a great scooter that is not very old, in great condition and very low mileage and one that will hold its value, as all Vespas do. Viewings available at the weekends, or Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after 6.30pm. No tyre kickers or time wasters please. I need to sell this quickly as it is costing me money for it to be insured and using space on my drive. With this said I am happy to accept genuine offers, but nothing ridiculous please. I am more than happy to supply additional information and photos.
