FORMABILIO LAUNCHES SOBER 36th contest for talented designers and furniture enthusiasts from all over the world Opens Sober, 36th contest – open to designers from all over the world - launched by Formabilio, the Italian brand of furniture, lamps and home accessory, committed to participatory and eco-friendly Design that promotes the projects of talented designers through contests online. The creatives, architects and designers, who intend to enter the contest, on their own or as a group, have to submit their furniture, home accessory or lighting projects, that stand on their own, without the help of walls, fixings, hooks or the support of other furniture elements … therefore freestanding projects, with an high “sobriety rate”. Because, wherever you are in the world, when someone is sober he walks straight, his head held high, does not need to lean against the wall, neither hangs on handholds nor falls every time or so. Projects can be submitted online in the dedicated page from 10.00 am CEST on July the 16th, 2014 and by no later than September the 1st, 2014 at 6.00 pm CEST.
