FOSTER NEEDED! Can you help?! These kittens were born in a pig pen - literally - in Indiana. They contracted ringworm, and animal control was going to put them down as a result. We took them in, however, have treated them successfully for the ringworm (they are completely clear now), and now we need to find someone who can foster them. They are very tiny for their age, and will need extra TLC to help them overcome their tough start in life. They are about 3.5 months old. They need to start gaining some weight, so will have to watch to make sure they are eating well and getting plenty of food. And it probably goes without saying that they will need lots of love from whomever takes them in. If you have a spare bedroom, or even a bathroom, where you could keep these two kittens, until they have gained some weight and are able to be spayed/neutered, we sure could use your help! The shelter is not a good place for kittens; they always do better in a home environment. We provide all food, litter and any medical expenses. You need to be able to take them our vet (County West), if necessary, and otherwise, just provide them a safe, loving environment.
