FOSTER URGENTLY NEEDED Ok guys. Our shelter just accepted a pregnant dog. It was either take her in or allow her to be shot. Obviously we couldnt let that happen. The shelter staff is taking care of her right now but we really would like to get her into a foster home so that she does not have to have her puppies in a cage. Mama could possibly have pups in 2-3 weeks. The shelter office is NOT open today. Office opens tomorrow (Monday) at 8am. Contact person is Cheryl. Phone is (218) 847-9040. If you are able and interested in fostering mama, you must complete and submit a foster application to Cheryl at the office. Our email is being very odd right now and some emails are not getting through to the office. Please follow up on anything you send via email to make sure that it is actually received. Foster Applications as well as all kinds of other info can be found on our website: marshmallowfoundation.org I know we will need donations for medical vetting, food, etc. so please consider making a donation to help mama and her pups or some of the other animals at our shelter. Heres the info on mama: -We named her Hedy, after Hedy Lamarr, the beautiful actress from the 30s and 40s. -Estimated to be around 1 year old. -Possibly Terrier/Lab mix but not really sure -Black coat -VERY, VERY SWEET and giving Cassi all kinds of lovin right now. Loves laying in her lap.
