FQ: I am a FTM I am 15 weeks & 2days. I had morning sickness the entire first trimester & around 12 weeks my morning sickness was all day, no matter what I eat or drink even if its only water my body does not want it & I will puke everything. I have been in & out of the hospital, I was even admitted because of severe dehydration where I was then diagnosed with hypermesis gravidarum. I also have tried every nausea medicine even the suppositories & that cannot help me. I am now taken out of work and on home health care where I have had an iv catheter placed in my arm & I receive fluids 24 hours of the day, everyday & Im still sick, I will be receiving a steroid shot in a few days & if that doesnt work I will have a pump installed into my stomach, my question is has anyone else went through this & how long did your hypermesis last? Did getting a steroid shot help or having the pump installed help? ~4
