****FREE ADVICE ON A BET IF ANYONE WANTS TO TAKE IT**** After five nights of picking games on here against the spread I am 3-2. Last night I took the over (9) in the Cincinnati Reds/Cubs. I did cover, but barely. The Reds beat the Cubs 8-2, so my over was correct by only by a run. Bailey went 6 innings striking out 8 and only allowing 6 hits and no runs while he got his first win of the season in a win for the Reds. He is dominant to say the least at Wrigley field. He has gone 7-0 in the last ten games hes pitched there, all Red wins. SS Cozart carried the way on offense for Cincinnati as he a hit a 2-run homer in the 7th inning along with a double earlier in the game finishing the day 3-5 with 3 RBIs. Tonight I am sticking with baseball. Give me the Atlanta Braves (-175) at home vs. the Miami Marlins. The play: Atlanta Braves (-175) Here is why I like the Braves tonight. Tonight red hot Julio Teheran (2-1, 1.93) takes the mound for the Braves at Turner Field against opposing righty Tom Koehler (2-1, 1.89). First lets take a look at how good Teheran has been this season. Due to many injuries a top the Atlanta staff pre-season and last season, Teheran has earned himself into that ace of the staff discussion in Atlanta. Teherans last start came in Philly on Wednesday dominating the Phils in a complete game shutout. He only allowed 3 hits and no walks. The Fish bring another on fire pitcher to the mound on Monday night in Koehler who is also coming off a dominant performance. On Tuesday he pitched 7 innings and only gave up a single hit (along with 3 walks)at home to the Nats, getting the win. In Koehlers two wins this season the Fish bats have came alive giving him a combined 19 runs in support. In his loss on April 10th to the Nats he only got one run of support in a loss. This could be a decent pitching match-up even though I like Teherans repertoire much more than Koehlers. Combined in their seven starts they have pitched a total of 47 innings and only giving up 10 earned runs averaging out to an ERA of just 1.91. Some things I like in favor of my pick Atlanta is the face the Marlins have yet to win on the road this season going 0-6. The Marlins lost in both of Koehlers starts last year against Atlanta. Koehler went 0-1, with a 5.40 ERA going 10 innings and allowing 6 earned on 14 hits and 3 walks in those two outings. A few things Im not a fan of. The Fish have won four out of their last five games. Marlins have showed life in their young lineup thus far sporting the 2nd best batting average in the league. Atlanta finds themselves in the middle of the league in team batting at 15th. Rookie Christian Yelich has 14-game hitting streak right now for Miami. Giancarlo Stanton has a league leading 28 RBIs. All-in-all I like what Ive seen the last half of season from 23-year old righty Julio Teheran. I think he has enough in that young lively arm to keep the Fish off the board most of the night. Other trends I like in this match-up: Braves OF Jason Heyward broke out of his 0-12 slump over the weekend vs. the Mets going 4-11 with a double and 2 runs scored. Braves 1B Freddie Freeman loves to go fishing. Last year Freeman went 4-6 off Koehler with a triple and a double. Since last season he is hitting .379 against the Fish with 11 RBIs on 3 homers and six doubles. Braves 3B Chris Johnson is also an avid fisher. Johnson is 3-5 off Koehler with a double. He hit .397 with 15 RBIs on 1 homer and eight doubles. Braves C Evan Gattis didnt too bad himself vs. Miami last season hitting .368 with 13 RBIs on three homers and six doubles. Marlins OF Stanton had a cold weekend going hit-less against the Mariners. Against Teheran he only has one hit in 9 at-bats, 3 being a strikeout. He traditionally struggles against the Braves as well. Last season he hit only .185 vs. Atlanta with 17 strikeouts. Give me the Braves (-175) to beat the Marlins tonight. Lineup to follow in the image attached soon. - Steve #MLB #baseball #sports #Bet #predictions #cover #money #win #justwin #Atlanta #Braves #AtlantaBraves #JulioTeheran #Teheran #MiamiMarlins #Miami #Marlins #TomKoehler #Koehler #TurnerField #JasonHeyward #FreddieFreeman #ChrisJohnson #EvanGattis #GiancarloStanton #ChristianYelich #Yelich
