FREE EVENT INTERVIEW WITH NANCY MECKLER at the WOMEN of the WORLD FESTIVAL SUNDAY 10 NOVEMBER 2013 3pm – 4pm at The Playhouse This is an essential event for any working, or aspiring theatre practitioner, student or theatre enthusiast which will take place right on your doorstep for free! Nancy Meckler is the Director of the upcoming world premiere by Field Day Theatre Company of Sam Shepards new play Particle of Dread - (Oedipus Variations) . The production takes place in The Playhouse from 28th November - 7th December 2013 and Nancy Meckler will be in Derry throughout the rehearsal period. It is highly anticipated production which will bring to a close Derry ~ Londonderry’s cultural year. The play is by one of the most iconic contemporary American playwrights and it will be a major cultural and literary highlight in the City of Culture programme.
