FREE Public Event - Join us for Nonprofit 10 for 5 on Friday, August 22 from 8:30a-10a at the Lipscomb & Pitts Building. The LPBC is teaming with the Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence to host a FREE, fun, fast-paced educational seminar - Nonprofit 10 for 5 - that will introduce you to 10 different nonprofit organizations, the work they are doing, the impact the are having, and most importantly, easy ways to get engaged...in 5 minute lightning rounds! Doors will open at 8:00a for registration, then at 8:30a, we will kick off the 5 minute rounds featuring Executive Directors and nonprofit leaders from each of the 10 organizations. The lightning rounds will run from about 8:30a-9:30a and then we will wrap up with Q&A and mixing and mingling from 9:30a-10:00a. This event is perfect for anyone looking to get involved at any level or who wants to learn more about some of the amazing work being done here in the Mid-South! Guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face and tons of good ideas! This event is FREE and open to the public.
