FRIDAY MORNING WEATHER UPDATE Friday morning is starting out chilly with temperatures in the 30s and a light wind. Westerly winds aloft will keep cirrus clouds moving across the region. Mid-morning temperatures will climb into the 40s. Winds will come around to the south near noon and start a very slow return of gulf moisture back into the region. Lunchtime temperatures will be in the 50s. The afternoon will be mild with temperatures climbing into the 60s. It will be first time in over 192 hours that we will move out of below normal territory for temperatures. Long term – another cool air mass will arrive on Saturday but will not pack much of a punch. Temperatures will only take a slight dip for Sunday. The next air mass change will come on Wednesday with rain chances increasing towards the end of next week.
