FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 7 AT 11:00 PM THROUGH MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2014 AT 5:00 AM: IH 45 Northbound Closure: All northbound main lanes will be closed to traffic from Research Forest/Tamina to FM 1488. Traffic will begin to taper just north of The Woodlands Parkway. All northbound traffic will be detoured off of the main lanes to the northbound frontage road at Exit 79A (College Park/Needham Road). All traffic will be able to re-enter IH 45 main lanes just north of Harpers Landing. Please Note: The entrance ramp just south of Research Forest/Tamina will be open. Traffic will be allowed to enter IH 45 to bypass the Research Forest/IH 45 Intersection. Click here for a map of the closure. Law enforcement will be on site. DAILY/NIGHTLY LANE CLOSURES IH 45 Northbound Frontage Road: All lanes will be closed nightly starting Monday November 3 at 11:00 pm to Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 5:00 am. Closure Limits: Shenandoah Park Drive to SH 242. Detour: All traffic will be detoured on to IH 45 main lanes. Traffic wishing to access SH 242 will need to exit FM 1488 and U-turn heading south to SH 242. Law enforcement will be on site. SH 242 Westbound Lanes: All westbound lanes of SH 242 will be closed starting Monday November 3 at 9:00 pm to Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 5:00 am. Closure Limits: IH 45 to Windsor Lakes Boulevard. Detour: All traffic will be detoured to IH 45 northbound frontage road to 1488, U-turn, and take Windsor Lakes Boulevard off of the southbound frontage road to access SH 242. Law enforcement will be on site. IH 45 Southbound Main Lanes: All southbound main lanes will be closed on Thursday November 6 10:00 pm to Friday, November 7, 2014 at 5:00 am. Closure Limits: South of Windsor Lakes Boulevard to Wellman Road. Detour: All traffic will be detoured on to the southbound frontage road just south of Wellam Road through SH 242 intersection. Traffic will be allowed to re-enter IH 45 main lanes at Wellman Road. Law enforcement will be on site. ONGOING LANE CLOSURES SH 242: Westbound Frontage Road from Donwick Dr. to IH 45. One Inside Lane closed beginning Friday, February 21, 2014 until further notice. SH-242: Westbound from IH-45 to University Drive. One Outside Lane. Closed permanently until further notice. IH-45: Northbound Frontage Road from Shenandoah Park Drive to SH 242. One Inside Lane. Closed permanently until further notice. IH-45: Southbound Frontage Road from SH 242 to St. Lukes Way. One Inside Lane. Closed permanently until further notice. IH-45: Northbound Main lanes from Shenandoah Park Drive to SH 242. One Outside Shoulder. Closed permanently until further notice. IH-45: Southbound Main lanes from SH 242 to St. Lukes Way. One Outside Shoulder. Closed permanently until further notice.
