FROM SEPTEMBERS PATIENT NEWSLETTER: In this month’s issue we will be introducing you to Dr Peter Wight and Mrs Caroline Mann. Dr Wright qualified in London in 1981. He has lived and worked as a GP in Basingstoke for 26 years and has recently retired from full-time partnership to work as a freelance GP. He is covering Dr Dyson during her maternity leave. Professionally he has maintained a particular interest in cardiovascular disease and mental health. He is married and has three grown up daughters. He enjoys cycling, walking, listening to choral music and travel, particularly to France. He is an enthusiastic follower of the Tour de France and is looking forward to being in Yorkshire for the ‘Grand Depart’ in July 2014. Caroline joined the Practice in 1996 as a Receptionist at the Hatch Warren Surgery. She has worked her way up to her current role of Reception Manager to which she was promoted in December 2004.In her spare time, Caroline enjoys playing Petangue (French Boule) and she is involved in an annual exchange with La Cerlangue a village near Le Havre in France. Caroline has recently become a Grandparent for the first time and she enjoys spending as much time as she can with her new Grandson.
