FROM THE NEWSROOM: A magnitude 0.4 earthquake this morning may not have shook up the town of Plainfield as much as Thursday mornings significantly stronger one, but Plainfield Police Chief Michael Suprenant says a small “aftershock” quake was confirmed through the Western Observatory. Suprenant says no injuries or structural damage have been reported so far from the quake, which was reported around 10:36 am. As reported, a 2.0 to 2.2 magnitude earthquake surprised Plainfield officials and residents just this Thursday – area homeowners did report damage from that significantly stronger quake.
