FROM THE NEWSROOM: Belleville Police are asking for the publics help in their search for a suspicious man and woman taking pictures at Quinte Mall. The pair were seen on security monitors sitting on a bench outside of the Winners store on Tuesday afternoon, snapping photographs of children with their mother on a bench behind them. They approached another mother and her young child inside the mall about 40 minutes later, and asked if they could take pictures of the child, but they were refused. The woman then took a photograph, and the mother and the child quickly walked away. The male suspect is described as Caucasian, in his early to mid 40s, about five foot eight to five foot ten inches tall, with balding blondish hair, light facial hair and clean cut. The female suspect is described as Aboriginal or Southeast Asian, in her late 30s to early 40s, with long, dark wavy hair, and police say she stared at the child the entire time during the second incident. Anyone with information on their whereabouts should contact Belleville Police or Crime Stoppers.
