FROM THE NEWSROOM: Fire personnel are currently battling a structure fire at 669 Quaddick Town Farm Rd. in Thompson. QVEC Dispatch confirms that the call for the fire came into dispatch at 9:28 p.m. The Thompson Hill, East Thompson, Quinebaug, West Thompson, Community, East Putnam and Webster Fire Departments were dispatched to the call. Dispatch confirms the fire was still active as of 10:15 p.m. QVEC says there have been no transports from the scene of the fire, though it remains unclear if there are any reported injuries.
