FROM THE NEWSROOM: Two Democratic state lawmakers from Northeastern Connecticut have been appointed to various position for the 2015-16 legislative year, according to a news release from Connecticut House Democrats. Returning State Representative Danny Rovero has been appointed as an Assistant Majority Leader, Vice Chair of the Aging Committee, a member of the General Law Committee, and a member of the Public Safety & Security Committee. Newly elected Representative Christine Rosati has been appointed to the Energy and Technology Committee, the Human Services Committee, and the Insurance and Real Estate Committee.
