FULL-TIME POSITIONS IN ELIZABETH – Clean Venture offers a broad range of environmental services from industrial cleaning and emergency response to large scale site remediation projects. Our offices are strategically located in MA, CT, NJ, PA, DE and MD enabling us to serve both power generation utility companies as well as refining industry along the northeast coast. All candidates must pass pre-employment physical. CHEMICAL TECHNICIAN – Must be at least 18 years old; Valid D/L. Pass Company’s Auto Insurance Qualifiers. Pass HAZWOPER 40 hour training (provided if necessary). Physical requirements: Ability to work in confined spaces. Ability to exert physical effort daily. May be required to wear full face respirator and all levels of protective clothing. Ability to lift minimum 60lbs. Ability to climb up and down vertical ladders. Essential Responsibilities: Perform work under direct guidance of a foreman involving remediation of oils, hazardous waste and materials. Work will involve confined space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, oil spill clean-up, drum handling, decontamination work, excavation work, sweeping and shoveling, high pressure washing and various other remedial activities. Emergency response to oil and hazardous material incidence will be necessary and an on-call status will be mandatory a minimum of every four weeks. Travel may be required and employees will be compensated accordingly. Will be occasions when normal eight hours will be performed at different shifts employees will receive two days’ notice prior to shift work. Salary without experience $10.50 hourly.
