FUN IN THE SOUND..... I had the pleasure of guiding Bill Davies again. This time around he brought his buddy Danny Kieffer and Brett Seube of ENTERGY NEW ORLEANS. I told them about the BIG FUN in the Sound and they were game for a change of pace. We headed out to the Sound and from the first cast the lines were zinging! Loaded the boat down with Heads, Reds, couple Drum, Channel mullet, one flounder, one trout, and a partridge in a pear tree. The guys threw back over 20+ bull reds….it was nonstop action all day long! Great time was had by all and Bill is on the books already for July! See ya then Bill!! Also, I had the pleasure of guiding one of my regular clients, Alan Lange and his two boys. The heads and Reds were right up there alley so we headed for the Sound. First fish of the day was a solid pompano, then it was hang on after that! The crew filled the box with heads, reds, drum, and pompano. Even landed and photo’d a nice cobia. Line stretching pole bending action all day, wore the kids slap out! Caught and released another 15+ bulls. All fish were caught with 13 Fishing Green Omen and Envy Rods teamed up with FINS WINDTAMER BRAID on dead shrimp.
