FURY 90 out of 100 Rotten Tomatoes Rating 84 Rating: R Genre: Action | Drama | War Starring: Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman Director: David Ayer Run Time: 134 min Budget: $80,000,000 (estimated) https://youtube/watch?v=-OGvZoIrXpg Comment This movie was a good one, I am a big fan of war movies and this one holds its own against the best of them. It was an interesting concept to follow a WW2 tank crew. These tanks in my opinion were not fit for human occupation, hulking peaces of steel with no comfort what so ever. The movie pulls no punches and is full of monstrous graphic violence. The violence is more intense then most war movies I have seen but it fits, and is almost needed to depict the theme of the show and that theme is that there is nothing, absolutely nothing glourious about war it gives you a sense of futility, brutality and senselessness. The show is full of dull colours browns and greens fill the screen at all times giving you a depressed feeling the only colour I noticed was a pink blanket strapped to the tank with Fury painted on its gun barrel. The battle scenes were very well done and I had a feel that it was as close to reality as you could expected. The dominance of the German Tiger tank was not exaggerated and you can feel the frustration of the american tank crews as they fight against such a dominant force. There were some scenes that were not war related and I had the feeling that the characters were just trying to cling to some sense of humanity and home. The acting was very well done Brad does a great job and this may be his best performance yet. Shia, Logan, Jon and Micheal all fit well together and played convincing rolls together. The sounds and special effects were excellent. This movie should be seen for sure but be prepared for some fairly extreme violence.
