FYI. Had a hearing test today. Slight loss in the lower tones which is unusual. Most of the time it is the upper tones that dont register. Technician asked about past anesthesia. Said it can affect your hearing. Each time you are put under, a little more of your hearing is compromised. NOW. How many of you have had one or more surgeries and were put under for 2hours or more? Have you noticed anything different? One of the side effects no one tells you about. 2008 I had 4 spinal fusions and had a really bad reaction to the anesthesia. Code Blue before I was brought around. Five days in ICU with no pain meds whatever because I was so sensitive to them. This is only so you can examine your own history to see how it has effected your present.
